ASSASSIN: Finnish Shows Cancelled
July 31, 2006ASSASSIN's previously announced shows in Finland (Aug. 31 in Helsinki and Sep. 2 in Lappeenranta) have been cancelled by the promoter. "We feel sorry for all thrashers who wanted to see us and the other bands," the reformed German metallers said in a statement. "We just hope to be over in Finland very soon."
ASSASSIN has inked a deal with Marquee Records to have its first two albums (1987's "The Upcoming Terror" and 1988's "Interstellar Experience") distributed in North/South America and Japan. The band's long-awaited third offering, "The Club", is currently available for order via its official web site.
ASSASSIN has started writing material for its new album, tentatively planned for late 2006/early 2007.
